Information we collect

You can read DashAutoCredit guides without creating an account. The current site does not ask for a Social Security number, bank credentials, or a full credit application.

We may receive the following information when you use the site:

• Search information. ZIP codes and city-and-state searches submitted to the dealer finder.
• Communications. Your email address and any information you choose to include when you contact us.
• Technical information. Internet Protocol address, browser and device information, referring page, requested pages, timestamps, and basic server or security logs.
• Usage information. Page visits and interactions if analytics tools are enabled. We do not intentionally send sensitive financial information to analytics providers.

How we use information

We use information to return dealer-search results, operate and secure the website, diagnose errors, understand which pages are useful, respond to messages, and improve our guides and tools. We may also use records to prevent fraud, abuse, or automated attacks and to comply with legal obligations.

DashAutoCredit does not currently provide direct loan applications or user accounts. If those features are added, this policy will be updated before they begin collecting additional information.

Cookies and similar technology

The site or its service providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technology needed for security, preferences, performance, and measurement. Browser controls can block or delete cookies, although some site functions may not work as expected afterward.

Services operated by other companies

Dealer-result pages may use Mapbox to display maps. Your browser may send Mapbox an Internet Protocol address, device information, and the map request needed to provide that feature. Directions and other outbound links may take you to Google Maps, dealer websites, government resources, or other third-party sites.

Our pages may also load fonts, interface libraries, or other assets from content-delivery providers. Those companies process information under their own privacy policies. DashAutoCredit does not control what happens after you follow an external link.

When information may be shared

We may share information with vendors that host, secure, maintain, or measure the site; when required by law or a valid legal process; to protect users, the public, or our rights; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of site assets. Vendors should receive only the information reasonably needed for their work.

We do not currently sell personal information or operate a system for selling dealer-search leads. If that practice changes, we will revise this policy and provide legally required choices before the new use begins.

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, site security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods can differ by record type. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or transmission method can promise absolute security.

Your choices and privacy rights

You may ask about personal information you have directly provided, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or opt out of nonessential communications. Depending on where you live, privacy law may provide additional rights and an appeal process. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

Use the Contact Us page to submit a privacy request. Please do not email identity documents or sensitive financial records unless we give you a secure method and specifically request them.

Children’s privacy

DashAutoCredit is intended for adults shopping for or managing vehicle financing. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Policy changes

We may revise this policy as the site changes. The date at the top will show the latest revision. Material changes may also be announced elsewhere on the site when appropriate.
